The Friendly Voices of Praise ****UNDER CONSTRUCTION*** Purpose:
The purpose of the Sanctuary Choir is to minister to the
hearts of the congregation through song.
Singing brings joy to the heart and turns sadness into gladness.
Singing expresses gratitude and praise to God.
The psalmist has declared "For the LORD is good; his
mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Then
he says "…I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of
thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in
the day of my trouble (Ps. 59:16)."
"I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my
mouth will I make known thy
faithfulness to all generations (Ps. 89:1)." The choir will endeavor to sing ministering songs, consistent with the Church of God in Christ Doctrine and the teachings of the Pastor. Meetings and Rehearsals: Each Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Upcoming Events: To be a Choir member:
