Purpose: The purpose of this women's fellowship is to provide spiritual guidance and education for the women of Friendly through prayer and a variety of topics. We minister to one another as we come together and lay our partitions before the Lord. We also develop homemaking skills through crafts, formal settings, and ways of hospitality. Further, we bridge the age difference between the older and younger women by mentoring.

Under the careful guidance of our pastors wife we continue to meet the need of our congregation of women to increase their knowledge and right standing with God.

Only requirement for membership is to be a woman of any age in fellowship with this church.

Meeting date: First Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.

Nurses Unit Health Care Ministry

Supervisor of the Department of Women: Mother Norvella Hammonds

Purpose: The purpose of this ministry is to provide medical assistance, information and training to the congregation regarding optimum health and physical fitness. This ministry is comprised of persons who work in the medical field (Doctors, R.N., L.P.N., Nurse's Assistant, Physical Therapist, etc.). This ministry blends faith with works, and is primarily concern with and about the "Temple of God."

Meetings: Second Friday of each month 7:p.m.

Membership: To join this auxiliary, a person must be willing and able to dedicate one Sunday per month to nurses duties. All requirements will be explained and taught at our monthly meetings.
